Led by Andy Butler, Hercules & Love Affair is a prominent project exploring queer identity, intimacy, and the emotional pull of house music. The project gained international acclaim with its 2008 landmark single "Blind" featuring ANOHNI, bridging underground house, pop, and queer expression. Created with Elín Ey of Hips & Lips and Quinn Whalley of Paranoid London, recent projects include Someone Else Is Calling and Danseur (featuring collaborations with Faris Badwan of The Horrors, Hips & Lips, and Albrecht Van Doornik).
